Hi, I’m Patty. I’m an executive coach who specializes in using positive psychology to help organizations — and the people who work at them — thrive.
I’ve been working for progressive causes for much of my life, from high school antiapartheid protests to immigration and civil rights advocacy and strategy. My own journey facing anxiety and burnout means I intimately understand the struggles and challenges people at nonprofits face. Becoming a coach helped me overcome these challenges. I want to help you overcome yours.
As your coach, you’ll have access to an objective, empathic listener, adviser, and guide. We’ll work together to take you from stuck to thriving so you feel empowered to:
step into sustainable leadership that lets you soar
show up fully as the person you’re truly meant to be
face workplace anxiety and burnout
address specific issues around work, leadership, and identity
change the way you work and level up
lead with confidence
I feel it’s important to be heard, and I know what it feels like when you’re not. This is why in my coaching I help leaders use their voices, maybe in ways they have previously been afraid of using them, to ensure they are heard. My goal is to do this work in a way that is instinctive, so you feel able to lead while knowing you’re being your most authentic self.
My training has led me to study with a wide variety of groups and people, including with the Flourishing Center, Martha Beck’s Wayfinder program, and mindfulness experts Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. I am:
Certified as an Applied Positive Psychology coach from the Flourishing Center
Certified as a Martha Beck Wayfinder Life Coach
Certified as a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher through Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield’s Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program
Credentialed at the ACC level by the International Coaching Federation
